# Activity and undo

Rata keeps each version of each expense and payment, so nothing gets lost.

## See the activity

Open a group and tap the activity icon at the top. The list shows who added, changed, deleted or restored each expense and payment, and when. A change shows the fields that changed, with the old and the new value. Changes to the group settings also show.

## Restore a deleted expense or payment

1. In Activity, tap **Deleted**.
2. Find the expense or payment.
3. Tap **Restore**. The last version comes back, and the balances change.

Right after a delete, you can also tap **Undo** in the message at the bottom of the screen.
